Age limit as of 1st June must be as follows:

Nursery                             3 Years 6 months

Junior KG                          4 Years

Senior KG                         5 Years

Birth Certificate is essential for the students seeking admission for Junior KG, Senior KG and std.1 Pupils who have attended other school cannot be admitted without having obtained a leaving certificate.

The medium of instruction is English, Every child must have knowledge of the language  before admission. For pupils coming from states other than Uttarakhand, the educational authority of the states in which the school is located must countersign the Transfer Certificate All new pupils will be subjected to tests/interview and placed in a standard in which they are found fit.

Seventh-Day Adventist Inter College is registered since 1927 as a private English medium school. It’s an educational institute from Nursery to XII recognized by the government of India.

Seventh-Day Adventist Inter College is  operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in India for the benefit of the children of the church. Other students may be admitted whose principle and interests are in harmony with the standard, aims and objectives of school and who are willing to conform to these while registered as students.

The placement tests in English and Mathematics will be conducted for all the new students seeking admission. Based on the performance of these tests the Vice-Principal decides the admission.


  1. Mark List of the last two standards attended.
  2. Transfer Certificate from the last school attended.
  3. Health Certificate from a competent medical practitioner.
  4. Four passport size photographs
  5. Application fees
  6. Character recommendation by the Principal of the last school attended.
  7. Name and addresses of three other persons who can recommend the applicant.

After careful consideration of the application, the student is informed about the admission by the Vice-Principal. Consideration for admission to the school will take into account the abilities and preparation of the applicant that would indicate the probability of success in studies, such as to be able to fit into the programmer of the school, and who shows diligence in becoming an asset to the school. The student of high moral standard will be granted admission.

The applicant should be physically sound and in good health. Students from Southern Asia region may obtain application forms from the office of the Vice-Principal by paying Rs. 500/- and when completed should be noted that a student cannot be admitted without a Transfer Certificate and the Mark List from the previous school attended.

Admission to SDA Inter College is a privilege and not a right.
